Project Overview

Les Corps Inquiets explores the fragility of bodies, identities, and spaces in interwar Paris, a time caught between the trauma of the past and the intoxication of modern freedom.

Rooted in modernist influences and surrealist aesthetics, the project uses AI-generated visuals, silent cinema structure, and symbolic still-life to reflect on:

• The impossibility of fully reconstructing after destruction

• The tension between creator and creation

• The cyclical nature of influence and art

• The duality of freedom and confinement

Modernism sought to break from the past—AI reshapes it. Les Corps Inquiets stands at that crossroads.

Exhibition Structure

1. Les Corps en Construction (The Studio)

Bodies posed, controlled, and fragmented—reflecting both post-war reconstruction and the modernist obsession with form and identity.

2. Errances Urbaines (The City)

Paris becomes a surreal maze, embodying alienation, wonder, and the disconnection between individuals and their environment.

3. Les Objets Troublés (Still-life)

Symbolic objects evoke fragility, absence, and the haunting weight of history.
